Made by Hacksaw Gaming, Sun Princess is a anime, fantasy and gems slot that first went live in 2025. Press play on the demo and Sun Princess loads in the browser with play-money credits; nothing to install and nothing to sign up for. On our pace scale it lands in the Long-form class, based on how its features stretch or shorten a spin.

How a spin of Sun Princess plays

The core loop in Sun Princess is the classic slot cycle — stake, spin, read the result, repeat. The layout is a 7x7 grid and cluster pays for wins. Because wins are counted by groups rather than lines, a spin is often still resolving after the reels stop. In practice the length of a spin depends less on the animation and more on how often you stop to adjust the stake.

Which features speed it up or slow it down

Here is what the listed features do to a spin of Sun Princess:

• Cluster Pays — wins come from clusters of matching symbols that touch, not from paylines.
• Wild — wild symbols stand in for other symbols to complete wins.
• Multiplier — the multiplier is where most of the upside in a single spin comes from.
• Free Spins — the feature that adds the most minutes to a Sun Princess session, since one trigger buys a string of unpaid spins.

Expect free spins to be where your minutes go — the base game is quick, the feature is not.

The numbers: RTP, variance and ceiling

The listed RTP is 96.3%, in line with the typical online figure of around 96%. RTP is a long-run average over a very large number of spins; a short session can land far above or below it. The very high volatility rating points to long dry spells broken by rare large wins. The top payout is listed at 10,000x the stake — a headline ceiling that very few sessions will ever touch.

Round speed and session pace

Our pace profile rates Sun Princess as Long-form — long spins, swing 5 out of 5. That is an editorial reading of the listed specs for Sun Princess, not a timed test. Long-form games reward patience. A single feature can run for a while, so give the demo a proper session before judging it. Pair that with a 5/5 swing and short demos of Sun Princess can mislead you — one session may look cold, the next hot. Whatever the pace, give Sun Princess a session length in minutes and stop when it is up, win or lose.

A stopwatch test for the demo

Our withdrawal tests follow a fixed protocol, and the same idea works for Sun Princess. A five-minute demo routine:

1. Play 40 spins of Sun Princess in demo mode with a stopwatch running and note the total.
2. Run one test without buying the feature and, if you like, a second with Buy Bonus — the gap between the two sessions shows how much time the buy saves and how much balance it costs.
3. Multiply your spins-per-minute by your planned stake and by the minutes you intend to play — that is what you would really put through Sun Princess.

Who should try it

Best for slot players who enjoy a feature chase, risk-tolerant players happy to ride out swings, impatient feature hunters and fans of anime themes. If you only have a few minutes, a quick-round game from our crash or instant-win hubs will fit better.

Playing Sun Princess for real money

If you take Sun Princess to real money, the payout end matters as much as the round speed. BitGuruz cashed out in a 00:01:52 test median in our timed crypto withdrawals, which is why it tops the PayoutClock leaderboard. Check that Sun Princess is in the BitGuruz lobby in your region — libraries are not identical everywhere. The BitGuruz review breaks that time into approval, broadcast and network splits.
